(This time, I thoughtI'd try a Sonic fic from the Sonic Adventure franchise. Pairingsfor this fic include Sonic/Amy, Tails/Cream, Knuckles/Rouge, andmaybe Shadow/OC. I don't own Sonic the Hedgehog. CHAPTER 1
Deepwithin GUN headquarters, the military organization was in a sate offrustration. Ever since the Ultimate Life Form project hadhad slipped through their fingers, GUN slowly seemed to be goingunder and people lost faith in the organization. Shadowthe Hedgehog, the 'Ultimate Life Form' had escaped from them eversince the 'ARK' incident and made it quite clear that he wasnonot some cockroach that they could just squish. Naturally,this wasn't sitting too well with the General, who decided thatcertain measures were to be taken. Inside of the HeadOffice, 5 individuals seemed to be gathered around the General'sdesk.
'Now…' The General spoke. 'I'msure all of you are aware of the events that have transpired as oflate.'

'Our so called'Ultimate Life Form' is still active,' the military leaderexplained, 'Apparently those memories of Gerald and MariaRobotnik still keep him going. 'Understood.' A femalevoice spoke, as one figure stepped into the light, revealing asilver, female hedgehog that had gold colored, bang like quillsdrifting near her eyes. Her hair style seemed like acombination of Amy, and Sonic's. She had ruby coloredeyes that gave off a dark seductive look. She had avoluptuous body, complete with D-cup breasts, a 'bubble butt,'and slender shapely legs. She was dressed in a soldieruniform that consisted of a tight white dress shirt, which hugged herlarge breasts, complete with a small black tie, and a tight, shortskirt that barely reached mid thigh. On her feet, she worea pair of high heel sneakers that were similar in color to whatShadow had. (1)
'Now, Fury… You've beendesigned to have and even surpass any abilities that Shadow has,'The General reminded, 'Can you and your team mates pull this offwithout any problems? GUN may not have the necessaryrequirements for any more 'Ultimate Life Forms,' and since Shadowis still on the loose, you, along with Sorrow, End, Fear and Pain,are our last hopes for retrieving Shadow.'
'Not toworry…' Fury said with a smile. 'Thegirls and I are much more powerful and efficient than that old fool,Shadow. We'll bring him back, or kill him, tryingtoo.'
'Excuse me…' Another figure steppedout, with the same anatomy and dress as Fury, only she was a greenfox, with bushy, neck length olive hair on her head. Herears twitches slightly, as her curious, onyx eyes looked at herleader and the General.
'Yes Pain, what is it?' TheGeneral asked.
'What about that Hedgehog, who mistaken forShadow…Sonic?'
'Ah yes… The great Sonic theHedgehog, who fought to defeat Gerald's Grandson, yet now considershim an ally… Apparently he got mixed up with Shadow onmore than one occasion. No matter how extraordinary he maybe, GUN has no interest in him at this time, so he's of no concern,unless he gets any more involved with Shadow, is thatunderstood?'
'Yes, it is.' Painreplied. 'Although… This 'Team Sonic'group seems kind of interesting.' She thought to herselfwith interest.
'Now…' The Generalcontinued. 'We have pinpointed Shadows exactlocation. Apparently he has taken up residence, with oneRouge the Bat, a fellow agent of ours, and a robot dubbed Omega. Iwant the five of you to pursue Shadow at once, and if his two friendstry to stop you, which they probably will, then you shall havepermission to kill them; Rouge is expendable anyway.'
'YesSir.' Fury saluted.
'Dismissed.'
Furyand her team mates walked out of the General's office, withthoughts of Shadow on their minds. But apparently, therequest of 'Nevermind Sonic' did not occur to them, for they hadsome thoughts surrounding the blue hedgehog, and hisfriends.

'Get back here!' Espiothe Chameleon was rushing at the speed of the wind as he pursued histarget. In front of the Ninja Chameleon, was a crimson andnavy hover car going at a furious speed. The driver wasobviously in a desperate hurry to get away. Espio, howeverwas not about to let the guy go free. Making a sign withhis finger, pressing his hands together, he vanished in a flash ofsmoke, only to reappear right in the path of the car.
TheDriver looked up to see the chameleon pursuer appearing in hispath. He slammed his foot on the brake causing the car toswerve to the right, where it skid to a halt.
'Now's mychance!' Espio thought. He leapt into theair, pulling out 5 Kunai. He threw them at the driver,hoping to pin him right to the car seat. But all did notgo as planned, when…

All5 Kunai fell to the ground, shattered into pieces. Rightnext to them were what appeared to be bullets…
Espio landedon the ground, his mouth agape at what just transpired. Hestared at his target.
The individual in the hover car washolding a gun, smoking, because it had just been fired, 5 times,destroying 5 Kunai. He stood up from the car seat, andpicked his head up. He was a tall, solid, baby-faced,orange furred echidna. On his head was a magenta beret,and he was dressed in an olive green uniform. He peered atEspio with his sapphire blue eyes. 'Please… Likeninja throwing knives are going to stop me…'
Espiosmirked. 'Well, that's some fancy gun work. You'requite skilled with that revolver, Toya.'
'I prefer to becalled Ambient, nowadays.' The Echidna, now identified asToya/Ambient, said. 'But yes… Many havefallen to my revolvers.' In a click and flash, anotherRevolver appeared in his other hand. He then began tojuggle them. 'Let's see if you're lucky today, toavoid my bullets…' He said, smiling, while stilljuggling the revolvers, before tossing both into the air, thenleaping up, grabbing one with each hand, and firing at Espio.

'The Hell you will!' Vector theCrocodile suddenly appeared on the engine hood of the hover car, hisarms crossed defiantly.
'We plan on collecting the bounty onyou, gun boy!' Charmy Bee flew down from the sky,touching the ground with his feet.'
Ambient just shook hishead, laughing. 'Well, well… The ChaotixDetective Agency is together at last… You guys nevergive up, do you?'
Vector jumped down. 'That'sthe will and spirit of the Chaotix, bud.'
'Well as much asI'd like to stay and play with you, I've got other matters toattend to…'
'The hell you do!' Espio rushedat Ambient, who merely stepped to the side, caught Espio with his armand threw him down to the ground.
'As you can see, while I'mfamous for my gun work, I don't rely on them entirely. That'swhere my CQC comes in.' Ambient let out a quick kickthat tipped up Vector, and then grabbed the croc, throwing him intoCharmy, knocking both of them down. 'We really should dothis again, some time… See you…' Ambientgave a polite wave, before jumping back into the hover car, andspeeding off. 'They never saw my moves coming… Noone ever does.' He chuckled heartily. As he reached downunder the passenger seat, and pulled out a small bag. Heset it down on the seat, were it opened up, revealing a collection ofsmall multi-colored chaos emeralds. 'I managed to comeaway with my quarry.' He didn't stop driving until hewas a few miles away from the forest. When he felt that hewas far away enough, he pulled his hover car over to a secludedclearing, he examined his bag of emeralds. 'Wow…' Hesaid as he eyed them. 'So the prism emeralds really doexist… They shine in all 7 colors of the rainbow, andmust harvest a huge amount of chaos energy. And to thinkthat everyone else thinks they're just legends…except me, ahumble chaos emerald digger. To think I have a bounty onmy head, just because I was mining in areas they'd rather not havepeople on…' Ambient shook his head. 'Somelaws are just silly.' He said simply as he twirled arevolver around his right index finger.

Sonicthe Hedgehog frantically zipped through the streets on his superspeed, his eyes looking quite shocked. He ducked into analleyway, only a blue blur being seen as he moved. Sonicleaned against the wall, a look of relief across his face as one handbrushed through his long blue quills. His face carriedevidence of a blush though. 'What the hell is wrong withme? I'm Sonic the Hedgehog, fastest being on Mobius, whocan stare danger, and Dr. Eggman, right in the eye…SO WHY THE HELLDO I TURN AND RUN FROM THE SIGHT OF A PRETTY GIRL?!' Heshook his head wildly. 'I just can't look a girl inthe eye for some reason. Having one who literally throwsherself at you, saying she'll do whatever you want her to dodoesn't help either…' His thoughts drifted to AmyRose. 'That girl is something else. I mean,she's cute and pretty, but why would she want someone likeme? What is it about me, which makes me so desirable toher anyway? I mean, there's hundreds of better lookingguys out there with better personalities. I'm impatient,can't even sit still for a minute, and let's face it, sometimesI'm not the most polite guy in the world. Yet, shethinks I'm the world to her. How could she love me outof all people?' He sighed. 'Why can't Ieven look her in the eye? I don't hate her at all, sowhy do I act like this?! Am I…' He raisedhis head. 'Am I shy around her, because I… Ilove her?'

'GAH!' Sonicleapt into the air and landed back down facing the voice withanxiousness. 'Tails? Whew, thank god it'syou.' He said with a sigh of relief.
Tails raisedan eyebrow. 'Sonic, are you ok?' Thekitsune asked.
Sonic shook his head. 'No Tails,I'm not. I've got a problem… This mayseem embarrassing and laughable, but…'
'But what?'
'Ithink I might be afraid of women.' Sonic said with a redface.
Tails' eyes widened, and he had to keep himself fromlaughing. His buddy, Sonic, all time Hero of Mobius wasafraid of the opposite sex? Then again, it had beenevident for as long as he had known Sonic, especially withAmy.
Sonic continued. 'But there's one girlwhom I'm really nervous around… I think you know whoit is…'
Tails smiled. 'It's Amy Rose isn'tit?'
Sonic flushed. 'Yeah. Everytime I see her, I keep getting a funny feeling in my chest andstomach…like I'm happy, yet nervous. Tails… Ithink it might be love… I, Sonic the Hedgehog, am inlove with Amy Rose…'
Tails' smile was wider. 'Soyou finally admit it…'
Sonic's eyes widened. 'Youknew?'
'The way you act when she's in trouble,Sonic… It's SO obvious.' Tailslaughed.
Sonic sighed again. 'Am I really thatobvious?' His little buddy nodded. 'Well, Ineed help. I don't want to be running from her foreveranymore. I want to tell her how I feel. I don'tknow how many times I've hurt her every time I ran from her, but Idon't want to hurt her anymore.'
