Skyrim's main form of currency is gold. Surprisingly, gold (the currency) can't be made from any form of golden ingot - you can only obtain gold as loot, via trading, from natural spawn locations and from rewards from quests.. oh, and through console commands - that's what this guide is for, to show you how to use the gold cheat.
It is by far the best way to make money in Skyrim. From level 1, start collecting Blue Mountain Flowers and Blue Butterfly Wings. Mixing these two ingredients makes a potion that sells for 80-250 gold depending on your alchemy and speech levels. You can make well over 5,000 gold before even killing the first dragon. If 100 gold isn't enough for you, the following console command would add 99,999, which is near-infinite: player.AddItem 0000000F 99999 To spawn more or less gold, just change the number at the end of the command. As gold is an actual item in the game, you can cheat it in using the AddItem command. The syntax for the AddItem command is as follows:

player.AddItem [Item ID] [Amount]
All we need to do with the above command is add in gold's item ID and the amount of gold you wish to spawn. Gold's item ID is 0000000F (yes - 7 zeroes!), say you wanted to spawn 100 gold, you'd use the following cheat:
player.AddItem 0000000F 100

If 100 gold isn't enough for you, the following console command would add 99,999, which is near-infinite:
